Laredo’s gaming and cosplay community will level up this weekend with a Nintendo-themed market at Seikatsu.
The Nintendo Market will take place Sunday from 2-7 p.m. at Seikatsu Anime & Gaming Lounge, 5901 McPherson Road, Suite 16A, and is led by nonprofit cosplay group Laredo Causeplay.
Attendees can power up their nostalgia through themed offerings, including specialty drinks by Sol Coffeehouse, inspired treats by Kitchen Princess and and La Casita Bakery, alongside hand-crocheted Super Mario Bros. plushies by Pretty Little Trinkets. Additional vendors will offer collectibles and gaming-related items.
In addition to shopping, guests can revisit a fan-favorite classic, the Nintendo DS. Attendees are encouraged to bring their devices for a StreetPass meetup, play games and connect with fellow gamers.
Visitors can also suit up as their favorite Nintendo characters, from Kirby to Pokémon to Animal Crossing villagers and more. Cosplayers from Laredo Causeplay will also be in attendance, bringing beloved characters to life.
