Naughty Dog Working On New Uncharted Game, It’s Claimed

A recent claim indicates that the Uncharted franchise may be making a comeback. The series has been a staple of PlayStation for nearly two decades, with the last release being the remastered Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, featuring Uncharted 4 and its expansion, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.

A Thief’s End was the last mainline release for the franchise. It’s been nearly a decade since 2017, when that game was released, and fans do want a new experience.

Naughty Dog’s Secret Game May Be a New Uncharted

In 2025, Naughty Dog studio head Neil Druckmann revealed that the studio was working on another game apart from Intergalactic. However, he claims to be in a producer and mentor role for the unannounced title.

Now, a new social media claim from @AlexandreNGamR states that Naughty Dog is developing a new Uncharted alongside “Intergalactic.” This claim has not been confirmed by Insider Gaming as of yet.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy’s director, Shaun Escayg, recently may have teased a new project for the franchise. He’d posted an image on social media of a cannon overlooking a beachfront city from a cliff. The caption claimed it was all for “research.” Learn more at this link.

More on the Future of PlayStation

Reportedly, there will be a Sony PlayStation State of Play on April 16. The last State of Play in February announced several titles, including the shadowdropped God of War: Sons of Sparta. SAROS was also featured. Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, 007 First Light, and the return of Castlevania are slated for a 2026 release.

While it’s unknown if an Uncharted title is truly in the works, all the evidence points to a positive outcome for fans of the franchise.
