Galaxy S23 FE and Galaxy A35 5G are gearing up to receive One UI 8.5 Beta as Samsung officially confirmed the expansion to the two popular smartphones.
On April 9, Samsung announced One UI 8.5 Beta will be available for the Galaxy S23 FE, along with the Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5. Before practical things happen, the first Beta has been spotted on the server, signaling imminent rollout.
There’s a new software listed on the server: S711NKSUEZZD5. It’s a Beta build that will be available to users upon joining the Beta Program. The availability is now confirmed for Korea (via TarunVats), with India, UK and the US may be listed too.
In addition, Samsung has published Beta Program forums on its community sites, covering the Galaxy S23 FE and Galaxy A35.
Samsung recently expanded the Beta Program to the S23 series and A36. There was a wider wave of One UI 8.5 rollout for existing models. Galaxy S25 series, in particular, received the 9th Beta, which installed AirDrop feature as well.
After Samsung’s confirmation, users of S23 FE, Fold 5, and Flip 5 are eagerly waiting for the Beta Program. It should be available within a week or two, while the company, in the press release, said it’s coming later this month.
You won’t directly get One UI 8.5 Beta on your Galaxy S23 FE. It requires manual enrollment through the Samsung Members app. Check for the Beta banner once the program goes live, and finish the signup after consenting to the T&C.
