Christian Brothers senior Luke Hnatt charged down the final stretch at Holmdel Park on Saturday, echoing the finish his former teammate, now UNC freshman Joe Barrett, delivered a year ago.
With teammate Gavin Schmitt closing in behind him, Hnatt glanced over his shoulder to ensure space before powering toward the finish. Arms outstretched and fist pumping, he crossed the line in 15:23, securing CBA’s third consecutive Meet of Champions individual title.
