MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — The Myrtle Beach Food Truck and Music Festival returned for its second day of a packed weekend, bringing dozens of food vendors, live music and other sellers to the former Myrtle Square Mall site.
The annual, family-friendly event — billed as “Eats and Beats” — featured more than 70 vendors along with bands performing on stage.
Organizers aim to spotlight local businesses and give residents a chance to sample a wide range of offerings, from barbecue and seafood to desserts.

Some vendors travel in from out of town to take part.
Dwayne Fisher Jr. of Nola’s Stuffed Snoballs, a New Orleans-based business, said this is his third year attending and he enjoys seeing how people respond to his food.
“We love it, it’s always been a great experience for us but I can’t ask for it. you know a place where all the trucks come together. and there is a big chance of people coming to try my food that never had it or big fans that are coming to check it out that gives them a little bit of comfort from home,” Fisher said.
Lanise Eaddy of Seasoul Melody said the atmosphere and community support stood out during the weekend.
