Tinkatink is holding court during Pokémon Go’s April Community Day. Not only will this give you the chance to catch a shiny Tinkatink and a Tinkatink with 100% perfect IV stats, but you can also get a Tinkaton with the exclusive move, Gigaton Hammer. (It’s also Tinkaton’s signature move!) There’s also a string of Community Day event bonuses to enjoy as well, so make the most of Tinkatink’s Community Day!

How to get shiny Tinkatink
Shiny Tinkatink had made its debut as part of the April 2026 Community Day event!
Every Community Day sees the shiny odds for its chosen Pokémon increased. You can increase your chances further by using an Incense to boost the number of Tinkatink spawns you encounter. As such, you shouldn’t have much trouble tracking down a shiny Tinkatink. Simply keep clicking on Tinkatink until you see a shiny one! Just remember to keep an eye out for the sparkle effect and shiny icon next to its name to avoid missing out.
As you can see, the shiny Tinkatink family isn’t very exciting to say the least. (The least I can say about them is probably for the better.) The only real, noticeable, change between shiny Tinkatink and its regular form is the colour of its hammer, which has gone from grey to bronze. This change continues throughout the Tinkatink evolution line and that’s literally it. Not a smidge of excitement to be found.
How to get Tinkatink with perfect IV CP
April’s Community Day is the perfect time to find a Tinkatink with perfect IV stats. (Referred to as a ‘Hundo’ by the Pokémon Go community.) These are 15/15/15 stats you’re looking for to create a maxed out, 100% IV Pokémon, for your 4* Pokédex, raids and Master League.
If you’re at least Level 30 (or above), you’ll ideally be looking for the following CPs for a perfect 15/15/15 Tinkatink:
- Level 30 (wild CP maximum) – 737 CP
- Level 35 (weather-boosted wild CP maximum) – 799 CP
The wild CP value aligns with your Trainer Level until you reach Level 30 and, due to the majority of the player base now being above this level, we’ve kept to these values for the sake of simplicity. These values will, however, be different if you’re currently below Level 30.
Don’t forget about the Pressure Rising Special Research quest.
There’s a lot to do in Pokémon Go outside of the current event! From the Go Battle League, Remote Trading, PokéStop Showcase, Routes and Max Battles. Don’t forget to catch rare Pokémon while you’re at it.
Tinkatink’s Community Day move
April’s Community Day brings a new and exclusive move for Tinkatink’s final evolution, Tinkaton.
If you evolve a Tinkatuff into Tinkaton during the event or up to four hours afterwards (9pm local time) your resulting Tinkaton will learn Gigaton Hammer – a Steel-type Charged Attack.
Gigaton Hammer (Steel-type Charged Attack)
- Trainer Battles – 130 Power
- Gym and Raids – 300 Power
I recommend waiting until the end of the Community Day before obtaining this exclusive move to ensure you can evolve the Pokémon with the best IVs.
Best Tinkaton moveset recommendation in Pokémon Go
For Tinkaton’s best moveset, I recommend Fairy Wind as a Fast Move and Play Rough as a Charged Move. This moveset will work well for both defensive and offensive play.
If you fancy teaching Tinkaton a second Charged Move, then consider using either Heavy Slam or Gigaton Hammer. Just remember that, since Gigaton Hammer is a Community Day exclusive, you’ll have to use an Elite Charged TM to obtain it outside of this event.
Here’s Tinkaton’s full moveset in Pokémon Go:
Fast Moves
- Fairy Wind (Fairy)
- Rock Smash (Fighting)
Charged Moves
- Bulldoze (Ground)
- Flash Cannon (Steel)
- Heavy Slam (Steel)
- Play Rough (Fairy)
