“I’m loving it. I think it’s truly wonderful: the staging, the music, the costumes, the choreography, everything, really. I’ve found it all marvelous,” fashion influencer Margarita de Guzmán Luque said.
Fernando Marinas Fernánde, a journalist, said, “It was amazing. It’s true that I felt emotions different from anything I’ve felt so far at this point in my life. I found it really captivating. I had a hard time getting distracted, as I had to pay very close attention to all the colors, all the movements.”
“Wonderful, spectacular. I expected it to be beautiful, but honestly, I’m totally amazed, especially as someone dedicated to the world of dance,” Rosa Maria Martínez Amate said. “In every way, the expressiveness, the movements, the flexibility, the color, the mood it creates, the atmosphere, it’s in the air. I’m really loving it.”
“It was absolutely amazing. What I liked most was the spiritual message it conveys, it’s very profound. I leave the theater feeling totally inspired to return to my center, to return to myself, and then also to use that to help others open up to the world and achieve that openness, which I believe is the most important thing in life,” Mr. Fernández said.
“I just love traditional Chinese culture, and I think it’s beautiful,” Ms. Luque said. “I think it’s wonderful, and I see it as a way, at least for the Spanish audience, to bring Chinese culture closer.”
Based in New York, Shen Yun has toured the world since 2006, presenting an all-new performance each year. Audience members said the show was inspiring, and offered them new insights and inspiration.
“I learn from everything, and you learn a lot from this show. Absolutely, I loved it,” Ms. Luque said. “Honestly, it gives me a sense of peace and happiness. I think I’m going to leave with a good feeling overall.”
“Because I believe that deep down, we are here to fulfill a mission, as this message rightly reminds us, and I think it’s important for people to become aware of that again. As the show suggests, we have to return to our roots, and I think it’s important to remember that,” Mr. Fernández said.
“I think people should come see it. I wouldn’t tell them much more other than that they’re going to love it, that it’s a unique show, and I wouldn’t tell them much more because I’d want them to be surprised,” Ms. Luque added.
