Columbia Records UK is on an impressive chart run right now with multiple artists across new releases and catalogue.
The Sony Music label occupies no less than five of the Top 10 singles in the latest chart, seven of the Top 12 and 13 of the Top 20. Those results powered Columbia to a No.2 finish in the Top 75 singles market shares (18.14%).
As revealed by Music Week, Harry Styles topped the albums rankings for Q1 with Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally. Styles’ third chart-topping LP opened in March with 183,045 units (Official Charts Company) – a best ever result in his solo career – and has since gone on to amass 248,855 units so far.
With Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally at No.4 this week in the albums charts, Styles is also part of that impressive Top 10 singles takeover for Columbia. Former No.1 American Girls is at No.8 (204,425 units to date), alongside other entries for Ready, Steady, Go! at No.23 and catalogue track Sign Of The Times returning at No.28 following its appearance in sci-fi blockbuster Project Hail Mary.
Columbia’s Top 10 hits are led by Tame Impala’s Dracula, which increased consumption by 4.9% week-on-week to 32,933 units on its second week at No.3 – new peak for the track that first charted in October. Dracula has consumption to date of 369,244 units.
Also increasing consumption (by 4.5%), Zara Larsson’s TikTok catalogue hit Lush Life is at No.4 on the latest chart, chasing its peak of No.3 earlier this year. The 2015 track saw a revival late last year and has amassed 3,483,695 units to date – 438,213 of that in 2026 (compared to 289,218 for the whole of 2025).
Larsson is not just reliant on catalogue for chart success, though, with the title track of her current album, Midnight Sun, rising 16-12 (18,356 sales) and becoming her highest-charting new hit since 2018. It has consumption to date of 313,167.
The new campaign for Harry Styles has been nothing short of incredible

Dominic Fike has also secured a pair of simultaneous Top 20 singles, with 2018 release Babydoll leading the way at No.7 (29,107 sales) – a new peak. Babydoll is approaching a million units of consumption (974,266). Meanwhile, current single White Keys also hit a new peak at No.10 (23,786 sales) – his third single to reach the Top 10.
Such was the run of hits in the mix, Columbia was competing with itself – catalogue dance track Just The Way You Are by Milky just missed out on the Top 10 in the latest chart (22,870 units).
Columbia also has a Top 20 hit with Ella Langley’s Choosin’ Texas and a Top 30 result for Central Cee’s Wagwan.
Here, Dipesh Parmar, president of Columbia Records UK, marks an incredible chart result for the label…
Harry Styles continues to stream well with a big hit for American Girls – and the album came out on top in Q1. How will you continue to support this campaign in the run-up to stadium shows?
“The new campaign for Harry Styles has been nothing short of incredible. This week, his performance of Carla’s Song on Blogothèque continues to have that element of surprise and delight, alongside his curation announcement for Meltdown Festival. We’re extremely lucky to work with Harry and his team, who have such a strong creative vision and focus. Harry has such broad appeal that we continue to focus on widening and engaging new audiences through discovery with the new music, alongside all the amazing content.”
What’s been key to the No.3 chart peak for Dracula at this point of the campaign – and is there more to come from this project?
“From the moment we heard the new masterpiece of an album Deadbeat, we knew that Dracula was special. Ron Perry [Columbia CEO & chairman in the US] had Jennie jump on a remixed version mid-way through the campaign, which completely catapulted the song globally. We’ve been investing heavily to grow the song in the UK week-on-week, as well as re-introducing the new Jennie version back into the playlisting and radio ecosystem. We plan to continue growing the song, particularly around the impending UK live dates in May.”
All credit to Zara Larsson on her immaculate ascension, she’s everything you want an artist to be in 2026

How are you successfully combining catalogue and current releases to achieve multiple hits for Zara Larsson? And could you discuss the catalogue success for Milky too, what is driving that deep catalogue revival?
“All credit to Zara Larsson on her immaculate ascension, she’s everything you want an artist to be in 2026. She’s taken control of her own destiny. The fact that Lush Life had a viral dance trend followed by another for Midnight Sun – both commanded by Zara – is no mean feat. We’re making sure our investment is leaning into these trends – doubling down on the most successful creatives, whilst ensuring we are reaching new audiences for both songs.
“Identifying new audiences and reinvigorating catalogue with new releases is something we are completely focused on as a company. Mall Grab’s remix brought Milky’s 2002 track Just The Way You Are to a new generation of club and social media audiences. We’re ensuring that noise is amplified globally across social media and traditional platforms to grow both versions, while adding new remixes from PNAU and others to keep propelling the story. It’s achieved 100 million streams across all versions since we signed and we plan to continue to build the song into the summer.”
Finally, Dominic Fike also has a catalogue track in the Top 10 alongside a new single. How do you approach artist campaigns at a time when a song from any era can blow up alongside current music?
“It’s an exciting time for music where multi-track consumption can really propel artist discovery among new young audiences, as well as giving an artist multiple entries into the charts. This momentum is building new fanbases and feeding directly into new music, with three Dominic Fike singles now entering the UK Spotify Top 200 and two sitting in the Top 10. Huge props to Ron, Jen [Jenifer Mallory, president] and the Columbia US team, as well as the team here.”
