President Volodymyr Zelensky announced via Telegram that Ukraine has reached an agreement with Greece on a new direction for gas imports. This effort is aimed at creating an additional supply route to ensure stable deliveries during the heating season.
We have prepared an agreement with Greece on gas for Ukraine. This will be another route for gas supplies – to safeguard Ukraine’s winter import routes as much as possible
Additionally, the head of state emphasized that Kyiv has arrangements to finance the import of natural gas, which will cover a need of about 2 billion euros. Such steps, according to him, will help offset losses from attacks on production.

Additionally, the president announced a trip to France on Monday, November 17, to strengthen the air defense system and modernize combat aircraft, and the day after plans a visit to Spain. The main tasks: focus on air defense, missile capabilities, winter readiness, and further diplomatic negotiations, including a prisoner exchange.
Support on the International Stage and Plans for Winter
Earlier, Naftogaz, in partnership with the European Investment Bank, signed a grant agreement of 127 million euros, which will finance additional volumes of gas imports. Such steps, according to the authorities, should strengthen the country’s energy security and ensure stable gas supplies in winter.
