Meghan’s MasterChef Moment, Nexus Summit Appearance & Fashion-Tech Investment

In what can only be described as the most delightful surprise cameo of the week, Meghan made an unexpected appearance on MasterChef Australia.

Network 10 / MasterChef Australia

The Duchess appeared via a pre-recorded message, cheering on contestants and bringing that warm, polished California energy we’ve come to expect. It wasn’t over-the-top, it was just… Meghan. Effortlessly engaging, supportive, and clearly right at home talking food and creativity.

Meghan’s surprise appearance is expected to air later in the current season, but an exact air date hasn’t been officially confirmed yet. The series returns on April 19 in Australia on Network 10 and 10 Streaming. Oher guest judges on this season of “MasterChef Australia” include Maggie Beer, Curtis Stone and Rick Stein.

Meghan and Harry stepped out for the Nexus Summit last night, a gathering that brings together next-generation philanthropists, impact investors, and innovators.

This is where people with big ideas (and the means to back them) come together to actually do something about the world’s problems.

The couple mingled with attendees, including entrepreneur Michael Wipfli, continuing their ongoing focus on community-driven impact. It’s very on-brand for the Sussexes—less about ceremony, more about meaningful conversations and action.

Meghan Invests in Fashion’s Future with OneOff

People revealed last night that Meghan has officially stepped into the tech-meets-style space as an investor in OneOffa platform that uses AI to help users recreate looks and shop more intentionally.

OneOff is a new AI-powered shopping platform designed to help users recreate celebrity looks with ease. Think of it as a digital stylist that can take an outfit you love and point you toward similar pieces, all in a matter of seconds. More from Vogue here.

All that said… let’s have a quick reality check.

Some of the items currently being shown for Meghan’s outfits on the platform aren’t exact matches. They appear to be suggestions meant to help you get the look, rather than confirmed pieces she has actually worn. The site doesn’t explicitly call that out (yet), but it’s an important distinction—especially for those of us who track her wardrobe down.

A recent example highlights this perfectly. In one post, Meghan was wearing a sweater by Dôen, a skirt from La Ligne, and her classic pumps by Ralph Lauren. However, OneOff initially identified the look as a matching green sweater and skirt set from Chloé. The post has since been updated after the discrepancy was pointed out—but it’s a good reminder of how these platforms are still evolving.

In another recent post, the site identifies Meghan’s sweater as a style from Jenni Kayne—however, it’s not an exact match. We’ve actually been tracking this piece for several weeks now, and the details don’t quite line up. The neckline and ribbing differ from the Jenni Kayne design, which suggests it’s either a close lookalike or possibly an older, no-longer-available style from the brand.

As for the trousers, they’re listed as the ‘Baptiste’ style by Heidi Merrick—a piece Meghan has worn previously—but I’m not entirely convinced that identification is correct in this instance.

To be clear, this isn’t about discrediting the platform—far from it. It’s helpful for readers to understand how the site works: many of the items shown are best viewed as style suggestions or approximations, rather than confirmed identifications.

Hopefully, as the platform evolves, there will be clearer labeling to separate verified pieces from inspired-by alternatives.

And as always—if you’re looking for the most accurate, thoroughly researched details on Meghan’s outfits… you already know to come here.

For her appearance on MasterChef Meghan wore Australian brands.

Her blouse is from Matteau – Long Sleeve Silk Shirt, $525.

She wore a skirt from Camilla and Marc – Caius High Corset Waist Midi Skirt, $650.

The Duchess wore her Manolo Blahnik ‘BB’ pumps in black suede, $895 – also available here.

For the Nexus event, Meghan wore an all black ensemble.

We’re still looking for her black top and pants. The trousers could be Max Mara or Anine Bing. She also had on a black leather croc belt. Please check back for updates.

Her shoes are from Emme Parsons ‘Loop’ sandals in black nappa, $615 (no longer available). The brand offers a similar style here. She first wore the style back in October 2025 for the Godmothers Bookstore event.

On Thursday Meghan and Harry have a full schedule in Australia.

In the morning the Duke and Duchess will participate in the Scar Tree Walk. Afterwards the couple will visit ‘batyr’, a mental health engagement program.

In the afternoon Harry and Meghan will attend the InterEdge Summit: Centrepiece in Melbourne.

I expect to start seeing photos drop and more details around 8pm EDT. I’ll be out of pocket for a while tonight as I’m heading into the city to see a show, but will be covering all the details of Harry and Meghan’s appearances afterwards. See you back here tomorrow!
