Living the Dream reviews roundup

Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream reviews

Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is launching on Nintendo Switch in just a few days, and initial reviews are starting to come in. We have a roundup of some of the initial verdicts.

Living the Dream is a huge release for fans as the series has been dormant for a long time. We saw Tomodachi Life on the Nintendo 3DS a little over a decade though, but we didn’t see any new games until now.

Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is retaining the zany simulation gameplay that fans have come to love. This time around, the action is set on a small floating island in the sea and players players become the caretaker of Mii characters. Players can customize Miis, explore their likes and dislikes, see then form relationships, and more. Meanwhile, they can also expand and design the island with the likes of homes and shops, and change up its aesthetic with landscape items. There’s also the Studio Workshop which enhances creativity with the ability to design pets for Miis, draft up custom drinks, decorate a special item of clothing, create original items, and more.

Below is the roundup of initial reviews for Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream:

IGN – 7 / 10
Game Informer – 7 / 10
GamesRadar – 4 / 5
Shacknews – 9 / 10
Gamereactor – 7 / 10
