On the same day that the U.S. State Dept. designated four Europe-based Antifa groups as Foreign Terrorist Organizations, federal prosecutors in North Texas filed a superseding indictment against nine members of a North Texas Antifa cell, including charges of rioting, attempted murder, and material support to terrorists.
This is the first time an Antifa group has been hit with terrorism charges, and the case could serve as a template for future cases against the violent Marxist group.
