Two Rochester men arrested after police chase ends with spike strips in Greece


GREECE, N.Y. — Two men face charges after a stolen car investigation led to a police chase in Greece.

The incident occurred Tuesday, Nov. 18, when the license plate reader system alerted officers to a stolen car near West Ridge Road and Long Pond Road. Officers said the driver fled, leading to a pursuit that ended after officers deployed spike strips.

Sequan Shipp and Zachary Stone were arrested at the scene.

The two Rochester residents were charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and criminal possession of stolen property. Shipp also faced additional charges of aggravated unlicensed operation and unlawful fleeing.
