Fashion on the Block is back for its 4th year on November 22 at 7 p.m. at Lucky’s in West Palm Beach. This time the runway is doubling as a fundraiser for Transpire Help, a nonprofit supporting LGBTQ+ individuals in recovery.
Show producer and Transpire board director Chris Rhoades says guests can expect “fabulous shows, amazing creative works of fashion, as well as some surprise performances from some of our local drag members as well.”
This year’s lineup features four designers each debuting new collections. “We’re really excited to have them back… and to see their new collections come down the runway,” Rhoades shared.
The event comes at a crucial time for Transpire. “We have been cut funding from the state and from the federal government… so these events are super important for everybody to come out and support,” he said.
Lucky’s offers a unique setting, with its front bar opening into a hidden back venue and outdoor space. Rhoades says the best part of producing the show is “seeing the smiles on the designers’ faces… it gives them hope.”
Tickets are available now on Eventbrite. Support local fashion, drag performers, and a important LGBTQ+ recovery nonprofit.
