This International Summit about Greece held in New York, has been taking place year after year, regardless of the political and economic conditions in Greece. With a 27-year track record of success, it has been engaged in a systematic effort to highlight Greece’s profile to a global business and investment audience.
Greece is now seen as a success story in the international economic environment and has now made a strong comeback on the global economic stage. Thanks to government reforms and growth prospects, the country is fully open to investment, encouraging an open investment framework with the aim of more cross-border mergers and acquisitions. The Forum will showcase Greece’s competitive advantages and focus on business and investment opportunities across the major sectors of the economy, as well as the challenges facing the global economy today.
A new era begins for the Greek energy sector, with Greece’s role as a regional energy hub being upgraded following the signing of the Vertical Energy Corridor agreement. The country is becoming a key point for the import, transport and distribution of LNG to Europe, enhancing the diversification of energy sources and the energy security of the region. In this way, its role as an energy bridge from the US to the European market is strengthened and consolidated at the core of the European energy map.
The Conference will provide a comprehensive overview of the country’s economic and investment landscape, highlighting its strategic position, business-friendly policies and areas open for investment.
