The best sales on Switch 2 bundles and games available now

There are some great Nintendo Black Friday deals available right now, and more to come. Want to know what’s worth buying now, and what’s worth waiting for? You’ve come to the right place. Let’s start with Nintendo’s previously announced detailed plans for deals throughout the holiday season. First, the bad news: There aren’t any new or notable price cuts on the new-for-2025 — and red-hot — Nintendo Switch 2. But, unlike Nintendo holidays of the past, the Switch 2 is in stock at Amazon, Walmart and nearly everywhere else, and when you buy it bundled with a game like Mario Kart World or Pokémon Legends: Z-A you do get a few bucks off.

Now to part 2: the games. Right now, Nintendo has a long list of digital-only deals at the Nintendo eShop, meaning these are pretty much only for existing Switch or Switch 2 owners. Among the notable Switch 2 game discounts: 20 to 50 percent sales on Madden NFL 26, EA Sports FC 26 (the former FIFA soccer game), Split Fiction, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 – Standard Edition, Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut and Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition. And older Switch titles (that run great on the Switch 2) are also discounted, including Luigi’s Mansion 3, Dark Souls: Remastered, MLB The Show 25, Wolfenstein II, Batman: Arkham City and more. But those are just the opening act, because starting next week (November 23), Nintendo will be dropping the prices of even more key titles (including Princess Peach: Showtime!, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom and Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe) to $40, while others — like Super Mario Odyssey, Nintendo Switch Sports, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and Splatoon 3 — will be $30.

Now, back to the hardware. For the uninitiated, the Nintendo Switch 2 earns its name from its dual play modes: handheld or connected to a TV. There’s a lot to love about it, even for casual gamers, and with Nintendo’s press release effectively confirming that there won’t be further manufacturer-blessed price cuts or bundles, we now know these current bundles are the best deals we’re likely to see. That means buying the Switch 2 with Mario Kart or Pokémon Legends: Z – A knocks $30 and $20 off, respectively, compared to buying them separately. The Pokémon remains unavailable on Amazon, but it’s still in stock at Walmart.

Mario Kart is one of Nintendo’s most popular game series — and for good reason. Mario Kart World is the most expansive (and expensive) game yet and has received high marks since its June 2025 release. It’s also only available for the Switch 2, meaning it isn’t compatible with older Switch models. Sold separately, Mario Kart World costs $80, and the Switch 2 costs $450. When bought together, this bundle saves you $30. If you’re looking for a game that two people can play head-to-head (when connected to a TV), this one gets the job done with everything that comes in the box.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A is Nintendo’s newest Pokémon game, just released this past October. In this game, you become a Pokémon Trainer and help protect the peace in Lumiose City. The Switch 2 edition features improved performance, resolution and frame rate versus the one available for the previous Switch model. On its own, Pokémon Legends: Z-A costs $70, but when combined with a Switch 2 in this bundle, you save $20.
