LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — DISCOVERY Children’s Museum in Las Vegas hosted F1 Day, an interactive event celebrating Formula 1 racing with a focus on science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM).
Sponsored by Gene Haas, the event offered families a chance to explore the science behind speed and motion through hands-on experiments and engineering challenges.
Attendees engaged in activities such as testing air-powered racers, experimenting with air pressure and propulsion, constructing miniature racetracks, and designing F1-inspired uniforms, cars, and flags.
The event also featured an interactive read-aloud of “RACE!” by Sue Fliess and illustrator Edwardian Taylor.
The museum’s initiative aims to inspire young minds and foster a lifelong passion for learning by combining the excitement of F1 racing with educational experiences.
