Casino gaming equipment maker TCS John Huxley Ltd says it has made a “strategic acquisition” of the dice manufacturing business of Gaming Partners International (GPI).
The suitor said in a Friday statement that it had “immediate ownership of GPI’s dice manufacturing capabilities”.
This, said TCS John Huxley, meant “significantly expanding” its “production footprint and product portfolio”.
It would also result in the suitor having “three premier dice brands: TK, Paulson, and TCS John Huxley”.
The statement did not mention the consideration involved for taking on the GPI dice business.
But TCS John Huxley noted: “Crucially, operations will be maintained in both Mexico and Missouri, United States of America, providing customers with dual supply capabilities for enhanced supply chain resilience and flexibility across all global markets.”
The update quoted Tristan Sjoberg, executive chairman of TCS John Huxley, as stating: “The acquisition of the GPI dice business is a truly transformative step for TCS John Huxley.”
He added: “By immediately securing the renowned TK and Paulson brands, we are fundamentally consolidating our position as the definitive global leader in casino dice manufacturing.
“Leveraging this increased scale and our dual production capabilities, we can provide customers with unmatched supply security and sustained access to the world’s most precise, trusted, and high-quality gaming dice.”
The suitor added that its own “Certified Perfects” dice were “globally acknowledged as the worldwide industry standard for casino gaming dice and are trusted globally for accuracy, quality, and security.” The latter product is available for craps, sic bo, and pai gow .
