Black Friday is here, and we’re updating this story hourly. To find the best deals in every category, follow all of our Black Friday coverage.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year for a deal with Black Friday officially here. While the whole month of November has turned into Black Friday, some retailers don’t open up their biggest deals of the year until today. I know a thing about Black Friday; it’s my fourth year covering the shopping holiday for the Strategist. If Prime Day is the Strategist’s Super Bowl, then Black Friday is our Olympics. It’s a sport around here.
Across the board, this year’s Black Friday fashion deals are the same as last year’s. But if you’re wondering where to go first, it’s the mall brands. Not only for the inventory online but for nearly everything being on sale. For example, the Gap is offering 50 percent off and Banana Republic, 40 percent off. (I myself will be getting a lot of shopping done at J.Crew; under Olympia Gayot, it might be better than I can ever remember.) This is the only time of the year retailers like Cos and & Other Stories have sitewide sales, too. That’s all to say, there’s a lot of fashion to shop this Black Friday. Here are all the Black Friday fashion deals worth shopping. For more Black Friday deals, check out our deal editor’s definitive guide. Be sure to sign up for the Strategist Sales Alert newsletter to get all our Black Friday and Cyber Monday coverage as well.
This year’s Amazon deals “are so good, you might even be able to knock out your entire holiday gifting list before December gets here — a holiday shopper’s dream,” says our writer Dominique Pariso. For more Amazon Black Friday deals, be sure to check out her roundup here.
Take it from a former Anthropologie employee: The best deal all year at Anthropologie is the week of Black Friday, when nearly everything full price is 30 percent off and there’s an extra 40 percent off sale items. Surprisingly, some pairs of Colettes, a favorite of Anthropologie employees, are marked down (something that doesn’t happen often, either).
During Aritzia’s Black Fiveday Sale, get 20 to 50 percent off everything. Plus, get 10 percent off the Super Puff. (It’s not the biggest discount, but this is one of the few times it’s ever on sale.)
All Baggus — from the Standard Baggu to the Baby Baggu — are 25 percent off.
Banana Republic “finally feels like the same brand that had Nora Ephron and Hunter S. Thompson write product reviews for its mail-order catalogue.” That’s to say, it’s very good now. You can try it out for yourself with 40 percent off your full-price purchase (this includes its normally pricey cashmere) and up to 50 percent off sale items.
Banana Republic Factory is offering 60 percent off everything, with an additional 20 percent off at checkout. If you only buy one thing, let it be a pair of Haydens (a Strategist reader-favorite work pants). I can’t remember the last time they were $29. For more Banana Republic Factory Black Friday deals, check out our deal writer Alexandra Polk’s roundup here.

This Lands’ End sale is as good as it gets: 50 percent off sitewide, plus up to 80 percent off the clearance section with code DIAMOND.
