Companies join forces after $500m lawsuit settled 28/11/25

Warner Music and Suno AI have signed a deal to join forces, after Warner had sued the tech platform for $500 Million, alleging large scale copyright infringement. The case has now created what the companies call a first-of-its-kind partnership, with Warner representing the likes of Dua Lipa, Coldplay and Ed Sheeran. Following the deal, Warner will allow users to create AI-generated music on Suno using the voices, names and likeness of their artists who opt-in to the programme.
