Best Black Friday Switch, PS5, Xbox, and PC deals (2025)

This Black Friday season is a bit of a godsend for gamers. With hardware costs rising in 2025 and games now flirting with $80 price points, we were in need of a big sales event to help make the holidays a little more affordable. While this year’s Black Friday won’t do much to bring down the cost of a Nintendo Switch 2, it will at least give you a break if you’re trying to catch up on games or nab some accessories for your consoles.

From a much-needed price drop on the PlayStation 5 Pro to discounts on several Game Awards nominees, these are the best Black Friday gaming deals worth checking out this year. For each platform, we’ve called out a few big-ticket items, plus lengthier lists of the best deals for that platform.

The best Nintendo Switch deals

Looking to expand your Nintendo Switch 2 storage? You’ve got a few options, but your best bet this Black Friday is to go with a Samsung P9 Express microSD Express card. You can grab a 256GB version for $48 or go up to 512GB for $75, the latter of which is a 25% discount. If you’re going to shop around, just remember: the Switch 2 only takes microSD Express cards.

Star Wars Outlaws – Gold Edition

Look, you aren’t going to find many discounts on the Switch 2’s biggest games this early into the console’s life. You are, however, going to find plenty of deals on third-party games. Chief among those is Star Wars Outlaws. You can get the Gold Edition of Ubisoft’s open-world game for just $40, a big discount considering it launched very recently.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds

While Mario Kart World was the Nintendo Switch 2’s flagship kart racer, as explained in our Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds review, Sega’s competitor is a very strong alternative, and what’s even better is that it’s on the original Nintendo Switch too. You can grab it for $20 off now from Amazon.

Beyond the above, here are some terrific Switch games that are discounted for Black Friday:

The best PlayStation 5 deals

PlayStation 5 Pro

If you’ve been waiting for the PS5 Pro’s absurdly high price tag to come down, you’re in luck. You can get Sony’s powerhouse console for $100 off this Black Friday, taking it down from $750 to $650. That’s still splurge-worthy, but it’s at least closer to what you’d expect to pay for a souped-up PS5.

PlayStation 5 – Ghost of Yōtei Gold Limited Edition Bundle

Say you’re not trying to go Pro and just want a normal PS5. That doesn’t mean you can’t get a little fancy with it. You can get a special edition PS5 for $500 during Black Friday that’s themed around Ghost of Yōtei, complete with gold accents and a special DualSense controller. You’ll get a download voucher for the game too, so it’s a solid discount all around that’s marked down $100 this weekend.

PlayStation VR2 Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle

The PlayStation VR2 has been a weird piece of tech to recommend over the years, but its Black Friday discount makes it an easier sell. You can currently pick up a bundle that includes both the headset itself and Horizon: Call of the Mountain, one of its best games, for $300. It’s a good time to grab one too, as recent VR games like Lumines Arise and The Midnight Walk are some of 2025’s best.

Want some games to play instead of hardware? Here are some of the best deals this Black Friday on PS5 games:

The best Xbox deals

Xbox Wireless Controller – Pulse Cipher Special Edition

You could replace your busted Xbox controllers with a typical colorway like “black with black background” or “white with white background.” Or, hear us out, these special edition controllers for $49, which both look and sound straight out of 1999 with color schemes like ICE BREAKER (it’s light blue), HEART BREAKER (light pink), and STORM BREAKER (you get the point).

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

It’s pretty simple math. For the price of two movie tickets, you can get five movies’ worth of good Indiana Jonesing — and even better, you get to inhabit the man yourself! A globe-trotting adventure with legitimately mind-bending puzzles makes Indiana Jones and the Great Circle one of the best games of the past year, and arguably the best Indiana Jones take of the modern era. You can grab it for $49 during Black Friday.

Avowed – Standard Edition

Forget the Game Awards nominations, Obsidian’s first-person fantasy RPG is one of the best games of 2025. First-person spell-slinging and rich skill trees wrapped in complex narrative that grapples with the COVID-19 pandemic? It’s an all-timer, and now at a steep discount too, available for $47 during Black Friday.

Here are some more top Xbox game deals for Black Friday:

The best PC gaming deals

Steam Deck – 256GB Version

The Steam Deck (well, the base edition Steam Deck) is currently the cheapest it’s ever been. The 256GB version is 20% off, taking it down to $319. If you can look past its jet-engine fans, Steam Deck really is the best way to play PC games on the go. Competitors have made forays into the space in recent years, but many still remain quite expensive. This sale widens the price gap even further.

Legion Go S – AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme

If you’d rather gamble with a Windows handheld instead of Linux, you’ve got a great option this year. Lenovo’s Legion Go S is down to $650, and that’s a solid deal for what you’re getting. This is the 32GB version of the handheld PC that comes packed with 1TB of storage and has SteamOS. It’s basically a Steam Deck with a 120Hz display and a great chip at its heart.

As always, Steam’s Black Friday sale is underway, with plenty of great discounts across games new and old. Here are some of our favorites, all of which are the lowest ever recorded prices for these games:
