Battlefield 6 is my pick for the best shooter of 2025, and it’s just got its first-ever discount for Black Friday. Head over to Best Buy, and you score Battlefield 6 on sale for $59, that’s a $10 saving. This latest entry in the online shooter series is a real return to form, bringing back classic Battlefield classes and modes. With Battlefield’s signature blend of tight gunplay and massive scale multiplayer matches, it’s a frenetic shooter; you’ll be playing long into 2026.

Borderlands 4 is the latest installment in the looter-shooter saga, and has been called a return to form for the franchise after the (somewhat) divisive third entry. Borderlands 4 is on sale for $47 at Best Buy, that’s a $22 discount. In our review, we said, “There are a few things holding Borderlands 4 back from being a must-play for everyone, but for longtime fans of the series, it ticks all the right boxes and makes shooting enemies to get loot as joyous an experience as it ever has been.” This one is a must-play for looter-shooter fans.

One of 2025’s most acclaimed GOTY contenders, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 has dropped to a new low price over on Best Buy. This medieval RPG sees you play Henry of Skalitz, the son of a blacksmith caught up in a sprawling adventure full of bandits, thieves and noblemen. Packing an authentic historical setting, dozens of quests, and the freedom to approach objectives how you wish, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is one of the most immersive RPG experiences since Baldur’s Gate 3. It also looks excellent on PS5 with stunning sights all over.

PS5’s PSVR 2 accessory is one of the best VR headsets out there, and it’s a huge step up from the original PSVR. The single cord setup alone is a real game-changer. Right now, PSVR 2 is on sale for $299 at Amazon, which is a $100 discount. Best of all, this deal is on the Horizon Call of the Mountain Bundle, which includes the PSVR 2 exclusive game set in the world of Horizon: Zero Dawn. It’s one of the PSVR 2’s best blockbusters and a showcase of the headset’s tech.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is clearly the PS5 Black Friday deal that everybody wants because Amazon is now sold out of the superhero sequel. Fortunately, Spider-Man 2 is in stock for $29 at Best Buy. This follow-up to the best-selling Spider-Man PS4 won Tom’s Guide’s GOTY in 2023, and more than two years later, it’s just as thrilling. You play Spider-Men, Peter Parker and Miles Morales, as they team up to defend New York City from a new wave of iconic villains, including Kraven the Hunter, Sandman and Venom.
