In addition to all the physical products on this page, don’t forget that there are currently discounts on the Nintendo eShop to take advantage of!
Everyone goes on about Split Fiction. I’ve not played it but at this price, that could change.
There are some decent Nintendo Switch 2 deals out there, but the current discounts on the older models are a big let down.
I have to say this Switch 2 bundle is really calling my name.
I’m torn between wanting to pull the trigger on a Switch 2 or wait for an OLED model…. decisions, decisions.
So far, the deals have been reasonable for Nintendo, especially when you consider how new the Switch 2 is and how rarely Nintendo stuff get discounted.
Right Roland Moore-Colyer here to talk Switch 2 deals and chat Nintendo in general.
And with that, my deals time comes to an end for the day. Good luck with your Black Friday shopping!
8BitDo’s Arcade Controller gets another price drop
Rhys is a huge fighting game guy and has been raving about the Arcade Controller from 8BitDo for the last few months.
Right now it’s discounted at Amazon, and he has this to say to anyone on the fence:
“I’ve been recommending the 8BitDo Arcade Controller ever since I reviewed it; having more affordable leverless options for fighting games is a very good thing, and 8BitDo’s version is a fantastic entry point into this type of controller.
Even better, it’s just dropped to an even cheaper price than it was earlier this week at Amazon!”
8BitDo Arcade Controller: was $89.99 now $71.99 at Amazon
GameStop Pro members save on pre-owned consoles

Should you buy refurbished?
Every year we see discounts on refurbished consoles and accessories, so you might be wondering whether they’re actually worth it.
Buying refurbished can be a fantastic way to say cash, potentially getting you an item that’s almost indistinguishable from new at a very significant discount.
There are some important things to bear in mind though. Firstly, not all refurbished products are created equal. For the best experience make sure that you’re buying from a reputable seller. Amazon and GameStop offer refurbished goods, for example, and are likely to have more consistent and rigorous standards than third parties on online marketplaces.
You should also pay special attention to the condition of what you’re buying. Most retailers list items with different grades that can range all the way from basically brand new in box to visible scratches, missing parts, and other damage. Make sure to check the grade of what you’re buying and do your research on what it actually means to avoid any nasty surprises.
Finally, try and buy from a store that offers a robust warranty service. That way you’ll be protected if there are any issues down the line.

Get stuck into a Switch 2 mystery at a low price
No Sleep for Kaname Date is the latest title in Spike Chunsoft’s AI: The Somnium Files series and comes highly recommended by my colleague Rhys.
“I absolutely love these games, their charming characters, sense of humor, and tightly-woven mysteries are always super compelling. I think this is a good one to curl up with on the couch over the Holidays,” he said.

The Mario Kart World bundle is very heavily discounted now
UK retailers cannot stop discounting the Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle, it seems, and it’s now a pretty massive £30 off at Argos!
If you’ve held out this long, well done; I can’t see it dropping any further than this so now is the time to strike.

A trilogy of scares
Did you know you can already pre-order the upcoming Resident Evil Generation Pack for Switch 2?

It’s scheduled to release the same day as Requiem on February 27, 2026.

Two whole Mario games for under 15 bucks
How does two Super Mario games for under 15 bucks sound?
Well, they’re not mainline series titles, but but rather the superb Mario + Rabbids turn-based strategy spin-offs that remain criminally underrated to this day.
While they are both original Switch games, they’re still fully compatible with Switch 2.
Mario + Rabbids Dual Pack: was $29.99 now $14.99 at Amazon
The Woot mega sale is here!
There are loads of fantastic offers if you head over to Amazon subsidiary Woot.
Known for its incredibly low prices, you can nab an extra 20% off your purchase (up to $40) by buying from the brand’s app. Prime members are eligible for free shipping too, which is a lovely bonus.
I’m seeing discounts on Switch games here and accessories like Nintendo Switch 2 cases.
Lexar also has two smaller models discounted right now, as you can see below.
The microSD Express card is use is discounted
The 1TB microSD Express card that I have in my personal Nintendo Switch 2 has been discounted for the second time this Black Friday, with another 15 bucks or so since its price cut earlier this week.
With a 1TB card like this you really don’t need to worry about your storage situation, which is why I love to use it.

I’ve spotted massive amiibo savings at Best Buy
Best Buy currently has some incredible discounts on a range of highly collectible amiibo figures, with highlights including a massive $20 off Tears of the Kingdom amiibo and $25 off Street Fighter 6 amiibo.

A new lowest-ever price for Pokémon in the UK!
Here’s a tidy little saving if you were waiting to buy the latest Pokémon game. Right now it’s £6 off at Amazon – a new lowest-ever price!
I’ve been playing it on and off since it released earlier this year and have very much enjoyed my time so far. I’m not the biggest Pokémon fan, but the open-world is fun to explore and there’s something very addictive about gradually filling out a fresh Pokedex.
This Nintendo Switch 2 version is also by far the best way to play, offering significant performance gains over its regular Switch counterpart.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition: was £51.99 now £44.99 at Amazon
Logitech G G435: was £74.99 now £29.99 at Amazon
Grab Joy-Con 2 controllers at Amazon for even less
Now that Black Friday is officially here, Amazon has cut a few extra quid off the asking price of the usually quite expensive Joy-Con 2 controllers.
This is a pretty chunky discount though Amazon says you’re only saving 8% off here as the controllers were already discounted when this deal kicked in. Compared to the retail price of £74.99, it’s more like 22% off.
Joy-Con 2: was £74.99 now £57.95 at Amazon
This little trick saves you cash on Pokémon Legends
My colleague and resident Pokémon fan Rhys Wood has this little bit of advice for anyone after the latest game in the series this week:
“While the physical Switch 2 version is full price, you can save by purchasing the original Switch version with this Walmart deal. Then, a Switch 2 upgrade costs just 10 bucks via the Nintendo eShop. In total, you should save around $12.”
How’s that for smart shopping?
Pokemon Legends Z-A: was $59.99 now $47.99 at Walmart
The perfect bundles for sports game fans
Walmart has just dropped a couple of pretty enticing Switch 2 bundles, especially if you’re a football or basketball fan.
Right now, you can purchase a Nintendo Switch 2 console and get either your choice of Madden NFL 26 or NBA 2K26 at a solid discount depending on which bundle you go for.
Nintendo Switch 2 + Madden NFL 26: $499.98 at Walmart
Nintendo Switch 2 + NBA 2K26: $499.98 at Walmart
Madden is starting to sell out at its incredible discount
This better than half price deal for EA Sports Madden NFL 26 is proving so popular that it’s beginning to sell out at some retailers.
Amazon now seems to have no stock left, but you can still find it at Best Buy. I’d recommend adding it to your basket soon if you’re keen to scoop it up.
Madden NFL 26 (Switch 2): was $69.99 now $29.99 at Best Buy
Save your Switch 2 screen from Dorito dust…
…and scratches, scuffs, or damage of any kind, really, with the Genki Aegis Shield tempered glass screen protector. Damaging your Switch 2 handheld’s display before the Holidays could be disaster, so I think this screen protector solution is essential if you’re a portable player.
We also rated this model highly in our review, though did note that it is rather prone to picking up fingerprints if your hands are covered in gamer grease.
Genki Aegis Shield for Nintendo Switch 2: was $19.99 now $15.99 at Amazon
512GB might be my preference, but if you only want a small storage boost then the 256GB model should be your pick. You can grab it below at a discounted price.
Buy a top holiday game cheaply right now
Looking for the perfect party game for the holidays? Just Dance 2026 should be your pick.
This casual title challenges you to dance for high scores with the Joy-Con controllers in your hands. It has a roster of 40 songs including hits from artists like Lady Gaga, Sabrina Carpenter, BABYMONSTER, and more which you can see below.
This Limited Edition release is unfortunately just a download code in a box, which is a shame if you’re a fan of physical cartridges, but does include some exclusive cosmetics to make up for it.
Just Dance 2026 Edition Limited Edition: was $49.99 now $24.99 at Amazon
The best Switch 2 bundle in the US right now…
First and foremost, I want to shout out this hugely popular bundle in the US. Containing both a Nintendo Switch 2 console and a copy of the latest Pokémon game, it’s been flying off the shelves over the past few days.
In fact, stock has become incredibly hard to find – presumably as it would make for such a fantastic gift. Luckily, I’ve managed to find some at GameStop, where you can scoop it up at retail price.
Third party sellers on some websites are now listing it for significantly above that, so buy below to avoid overpaying.
Nintendo Switch 2 + Pokemon Legends: Z-A bundle: $499 at GameStop
