The last NBA game to tip-off on Monday, Dec. 1 is taking place at crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and sees the Los Angeles Lakers welcoming the Phoenix Suns to town for their first of two meetings this month, and four for the regular season.
This NBA game is scheduled to start at 10 p.m. EST and will be streamed on Peacock. Fans looking to watch can do so using Peacock, which has plans starting at $7.99 a month and has exclusive NBA games on Mondays and also allows fans to watch games that are broadcast on NBC.
The Suns are 12-9 and looking to put a halt to this recent losing skid. They’ve lost two straight, and three of four, with two of those losses coming by at least 18 points. Against the Denver Nuggets on Saturday, Dillon Brooks posted a game-high 27 points while Devin Booker added 24 and seven assists. Royce O’Neale, Grayson Allen, Collin Gillespie and Jordan Goodwin combined for 45 points on 11-for-28 shooting on 3-pointers.
The Lakers have won seven straight and are second in the West at 15-4, but this is the second night of a back-to-back. LeBron James missed Sunday’s 133-121 win over the New Orleans Pelicans, but he is averaging 16.5 points, 8.3 assists and 5.0 rebounds since returning to the court and Los Angeles is 4-0 in those contests. On Sunday, the team continued to lean on leading scorers Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves, who had 34 and 33, respectively, to be the top two scorers in the contest. Doncic had 12 rebounds and seven assists while Reaves had eight assists and five boards. Deandre Ayton provided 22 points and 12 rebounds along with four blocks, and Rui Hachimura chipped in 14 points as well. Jake LaRavia was the Lakers’ top bench performer with 10 points and five rebounds, making it the eighth time this season he scored in double figures.
