GREECE N.Y. — The Greece Police Department (GPD) celebrates its completed renovation and expansion of it headquarters on Wednesday.
GPD used to be split into two buildings. Now, the whole department is unified under one building.
“While that building is outstanding and serves a great purpose there were significant enhancements that could be made I think and that we’ve done that to allow us to be even better. And this is all about service to the town,” said GDP Chief Michael Wood.
The building has other improvements such as a new public entrance with proper waiting and service areas and soundproofed interview rooms.
