Here is a look at some of the fellas who graced the red carpet for The Fashion Awards 2025 in London this week — a lineup that reminded us that menswear is having just as much fun as the women.
San Bernardino Double Denim
As you know, I haven’t been the biggest fan of the recent LaKeith Stanfield x Dior era, but this embroidered denim look was finally something he wore with ease. The floral-embroidered revolution coat and matching waistcoat sit comfortably in his wheelhouse, especially when grounded with pink-striped shirt, light-wash jeans and brown Dior Antibes mules. It’s eclectic, yes — but very much in the spirit of LaKeith.
Debonair in Dunhill
Henry Golding offered a masterclass in modern red carpet charm wearing a dunhill Spring 2026 checked shawl-lapel top coat styled with a bow-tie and art deco AD Cypher velvet slippers. The trousers could’ve benefitted from a neater cut, but the overall mood was gentleman-at-home elegance meets contemporary tailoring. The Cartier Tank Louis Cartier watch completed his look.
British Tailoring Supremacy
Being the best-dressed man on the planet does come with responsibilities, which is why Colman Domingo was the perfect host of this event. His Burberry navy-and-red pinstripe suit delivered British tailoring at its best — sharp, charismatic, effortlessly commanding the room by simply existing.
Midnight McQueen Mood
House of the Dragon’s Ewan Mitchell delivered a delightfully macabre turn in a McQueen suit that becomes more intriguing the closer you look. Lace ribcage embroidery on the jacket, plus a skull-print shirt and matching tie, gave this a deliciously gothic slant. It’s Dracula-coded in the most fashionable way.
Soft Tailoring, Strong Personality
You can always count on Ncuti Gatwa to bring a new perspective. His Simone Rocha look balanced drapery, pleats, and romance — punctuated with a single pink rose and a Harvy Santos hat. What would menswear be without his playful approach that refuses to settle for the expected?
Western Flair, London Edition
Will Poulter took a different route leaning into Nicholas Daley’s signature craft with a bespoke Rebel jacket paired with a custom tuxedo-style Western shirt and a hand-crochet Western bow tie. It’s not your typical London red carpet formula, but that’s exactly why it works. The look has personality, character and a sense of British-meets-frontier charm that feels true to Daley’s world. Tiffany & Co. brooch completed his look.
Inspired, Then Suddenly Not
I was really into Skepta’s Ribena-printed leather bomber jacket from his own label Mains… until I saw the straw sticking out of the back. One detail away from brilliance. His Puma collaboration trainers completed the outfit, which I’ll graciously admire only from the front
Feathers Forever
Jacob Rott and feathers: name a more committed relationship. His Mithridate suit came with the expected plume accent, because of course it did — it’s practically his red-carpet signature at this point.
Regal Crochet Moment
Sebastian Croft stepped out in a McQueen wool-mohair jacket adorned with crochet ceremonial details. A little regal, a little rockstar — and completely in tune with the house’s DNA.
