Jonathan Anderson wins Designer of the Year at The Fashion Awards for third consecutive year
Jonathan Anderson secured his third consecutive Designer of the Year award at The Fashion Awards, celebrating fashion’s cultural impact. The event, hosted by Colman Domingo, also honored Grace Wales Bonner and Sarah Burton, while recognizing Little Simz as Cultural Innovator. The ceremony underscored the industry’s diversity and talent, with a focus on supporting emerging designers.

Jonathan Anderson has once again solidified his status as one of fashion’s most influential figures, taking home the Designer of the Year award at The Fashion Awards for the third year in a row.The ceremony, held at the iconic Royal Albert Hall, was hosted by BAFTA- and Oscar-nominated actor Colman Domingo. The evening celebrated the cultural impact of fashion, iconic moments from the industry, and the creative minds who are redefining style and pushing boundaries.Organized by the British Fashion Council and presented by Pandora, the awards also serve as the BFC Foundation’s primary fundraising event. The Foundation supports the next generation of British designers through grants, education, and mentorship programs.

Other standout winners included Grace Wales Bonner, who received the British Menswear Designer Award for her eponymous label, and Sarah Burton, honored with the British Womenswear Designer Award for her work at Givenchy.Little Simz was recognized as the Cultural Innovator of the Year, while Chanel and Dior CEO Delphine Arnault received Special Recognition Awards. During her acceptance speech, Arnault revealed that Dior will expand its support for emerging talent by introducing a new annual MA Womenswear Scholarship, complementing the existing MA Menswear Scholarship.
