AG UNVEILS REDESIGNED RETAIL CONCEPT STORE AT FASHION ISLAND

AG Jeans has debuted the first major redesign of one of its stores in more than two decades. The new concept store reopened at its Fashion Island location in Newport Beach. The redesigned space reflects the brand’s updated aesthetic, featuring a contemporary coastal sensibility and a focus on sustainable, ethical business practices.

The design will help show the shape of AG’s next chapter. Carl Hansen & Søn, the renowned Danish heritage furniture maker, brought its craftsmanship to the space with pieces handcrafted from sustainably sourced wood. Nearly all materials in the store’s production cycle were repurposed, including residual wood that is converted into fuel to heat homes in Denmark.

Nordic Knots, the Stockholm-based rug studio, similarly added to the new retail store. Each rug was handwoven by artisans in India and created in partnership with GoodWeave to ensure fair labor practices and support education within weaving communities worldwide.

Together, the statement made by AG’s Jeans reflects a belief in design excellence that is built on, as the brand put it, “purpose, integrity, and longevity – values that define both our products and the environments we create.”
