Muses Creative Artistry Project to perform concert of sacred classical Christmas music

TEXARKANA, Ark. — The Hot Springs-based Muses Creative Artistry Project will perform a Christmas concert titled “Voices of Angels” next week.

The frequent visitors to Texarkana promise “transcendent sacred and uplifting musical offerings” that will evoke an atmosphere of majesty, hope, wonder and joy Thursday evening at First Presbyterian Church, according to a news release. Solo vocalists, skilled instrumentalists and a mixed voiced chorus will present a program of sacred classical Christmas music.

The Muses Creative Artistry Project is a nonprofit charitable arts organization dedicated to preserving classical art and music through performance and education. Each year, under the leadership of Founder and General Director Deleen Davidson, the Muses Project presents over 30 multi-arts productions. Those include a series of concert events, aligned with the four seasons, representing different artistic disciplines and styles.

“Voices of Angels” is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, at First Presbyterian Church, 516 Pecan St. Sponsored by the Patterson-Troike Foundation, the concert is free and open to the public.
