TheProsperty.com has named Sanja Ilic (above) as its new chief operating officer to spearhead sales, growth, marketing and product and tech teams to build new tools and commercial engine, according to Greece-based proptech service.
Prosperty features properties for three different packages, charging 2% commission on successful sale for standard and exclusive listing and commission plus €100 per listing in case of premium listing. It also deals in rental properties and provides one-stop services from for-sale and rental listing to marketing, lead management and mortgage via TheProsperty.com and TheProsperty.com.cy (Cyprus).
In a LinkedIn-translated post, the company welcomed Ilic as it is entering a new phase of growth and building up leadership team to “continue transforming the real estate experience through technology that simplifies processes, enhances transparency, and supports healthy, scalable, and data-driven growth.”
“I’m excited to welcome Sanja Ilic as our new COO — a leader with deep experience in building and scaling tech-enabled businesses across some of the world’s most challenging markets,” founder and CEO Antonis Markopoulos wrote in another post.
“Many in Greece will remember the transformation that Beat (TaxiBeat) brought to urban mobility. Sanja was one of the key people behind that journey, helping scale the company from Greece to major Latin American markets, and proving that bold ideas, strong teams and disciplined execution can reshape entire industries.”
In April, Prosperty secured $6.3 million in new investment, bringing its total funding to around $15 million.
Ilic brings with her several years of experiences developing marketplaces and leading local and international teams, reports MarketingWeek.
Ilic commented: “I’m truly excited to be joining Prosperty. The team has already accomplished the hardest part: proving the model, educating the market, and driving real change and now it’s time to scale.
Marketplaces have been at the heart of my career, and I look forward to contributing to the next chapter and expanding Prosperty’s footprint in Greece and internationally.”
Since founding in 2020, Prosperty has listed 4,500 properties with 250,000 monthly visitors, more than 50 monthly closures on an average and 50,000 certified customers.
