FREEPORT, Maine (WGME) — At the Freeport Sparkle, the Parade of Lights started coming down Main Street.
This included vehicles, floats, boats, you name it, all decked out with lights cruising down the street.
The music and the parade will end with Santa making an appearance. He’ll be helping to bring Freeport’s famous talking Christmas tree to life.
If you come to the Sparkle, you’ll also find plenty of food, hot coco, and shopping.
The Sparkle runs from Friday night to next Sunday, and people are excited about it.
“All the lights, getting to see everything, getting some hot coco, of course. L.L Bean, they always have amazing displays and everything, so it will be nice,” a Sparklegoer said.
The parade will run until seven o’clock, and something to keep in mind if you come to the Sparkle, definitely dress warm.
It’s cold but still a great time.
