ATHENS — The delegation led by the Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, who is on an official visit to Greece, met with the President of Greece, Konstantinos Tassoulas.
Expressing gratitude for the warm reception, Simonyan emphasized the importance of such meetings for the development of bilateral relations.
The President of Greece, in turn, thanked the Speaker of Armenia’s National Assembly for his official visit, noting that Armenia is one of Greece’s important partners.
The sides discussed the strengthening of bilateral ties, Armenia–EU relations, and the ongoing democratic reforms in Armenia.
They also touched upon regional developments and the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
