From the Red Sea International Film Festival to London screenings and New York cocktail events, let’s see who suited up this week.

Giant Red Sea International Film Festival Premiere
Riz Ahmed stepped out in an all-black Saint Laurent suit that was anything but standard issue. What immediately caught my eye was the cut of the jacket — clean at the shoulders, precise through the body — paired with wide-leg trousers, a choice he rarely makes but one that worked beautifully here. This was a masterclass in precision tailoring.

Fallout Season Two London Screening
We’ve had plenty of clues that the McQueen skull print was circling back, but this confirmed it. Walton Goggins broke his Saint Laurent streak with a McQueen suit that reads classic at first glance — until you clock the reverse lapels and the skull-print ribbon scarf tied at the neck. The result felt quietly clever in its contrast — classic at first glance, then revealing its edge the longer you looked. McQueen Artie shoes completed his look.

However, Aaron Moten was a standout in mint AMI Paris, offering a welcome break from the standard black suit. The colour felt fresh, while the relaxed cut gave the look an easy confidence that really suited him. Styled with a Tag Heuer timepiece, it was one of those outfits that shows how effective men’s red carpet dressing can be when unpredictability takes hold.

IndieWire Honors Winter Film Awards 2025
We’ve seen a lot of Jacob Elordi in classic tailoring, so I loved how he switched things up by layering a cropped leather jacket to introduce a tougher edge. The proportions did most of the work here, pushing his usual red carpet mood into something cooler and more casual. That said, I can’t help wanting a little more from Jacob at an event like this.

NYMag Culturati Cocktail
Benito Skinner took a direct pull from the Calvin Klein Collection Fall 2025 runway, but I’m glad he wore the oversized collarless jacket draped over his shoulder, because on the runway it read very “borrowed your grandpa’s coat.” Wearing it properly just weighed the whole look down — literally and figuratively. This styling choice lifted the proportions and gave the outfit a much needed sense of ease.
