On Sunday, December 7, approximately 1,500 Greeks from the United States and Canada participated in the fifth international outreach event of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs’ initiative “Rebrain Greece”, aimed at encouraging Greeks who left the country—mainly during the economic crisis—to consider returning. Some participants traveled from as far as Alaska, California, and Florida.
During the event, attendees had the opportunity to:
Attend interviews with 35 leading Greek business groups seeking professionals.
Receive information about professional opportunities in the modern Greek labor market.
Learn about incentives established to encourage the return of skilled Greeks.

“Our goal as the Ministry of Labor and the Greek Government is twofold: to show you that today’s Greece is not the one you left behind, and to highlight the great professional opportunities now available. The decision to return is yours, but we will do everything in our power to welcome you back.”
