Today, Senator Schiff joined NBC’s Meet the Press with Kristen Welker where he reiterated the unauthorized and illegal boat strikes are dragging the United States closer to war with Venezuela.
Schiff called on the administration to publicly release the full video of the attack, emphasizing that his colleagues will call up a War Powers Resolution to force a debate and vote in Congress that would block the use of U.S. forces in hostilities against or within Venezuela if President Trump should follow through on his threat to strike Venezuela on land ‘very soon.’
