Market Street Sing-Off
Local high school choirs will perform holiday music at Market Street’s Sing-Off competition in Central Park. The Sing Off will be led by emcee Cristina Kooker, and The Woodlands Comedy Troupe will open the show. Participating judges include local opera singer Ian Ramirez; Elizabeth Eddins with Visit The Woodlands; and John Pearson, Market Street’s marketing director.
Competing high schools in this year’s event include Oak Ridge High School, Lake Creek High School, Montgomery High School, Tomball Memorial High School, Summer Creek High School, Clear Falls High School and Bellaire High School.
Market Street is donating $10,000 in prize money to the choirs.
Spectators may bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy the performances and are encouraged to enjoy hot cocoa while they enjoy the show.
Sustainable Gift-wrapping Workshop
The Woodlands Township staff will provide eco-friendly gift-wrapping materials and tutorials. Participants are encouraged to register in advance, but walk-ins are welcome.
Family movie night
Guests are invited to bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy a movie night at the Rob Fleming Amphitheatre featuring “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.”
Flashlight Candy Cane Hunt
Participants can bring a flashlight and hunt for candy and treats at the Terramont Park. Prizes will be awarded to participants who find golden candy canes.
The Woodlands Makers Market
The event features craft fair vendors, food trucks, games and activities.

Jingle Boats
Participants can kayak under the holiday tree at the Riva Row Boat House. Preregistration is required.

Live music at Dosey Doe
Live music is planned at Dosey Doe-The Big Barn this weekend. The Gatlin Brothers will perform Dec. 13.
The Woodlands Chorale Christmas
“Love’s Pure Light” will be presented with special guests the McCullough Junior High School Chamber Singers at Christ Church Methodist.
