Rockstar Officially Drops New Bully Release Before GTA 6

There’s no question that Grand Theft Auto 6 has given players a lot to talk about over the past few months, with developers at Rockstar Games delaying its release to the end of 2026. While fans are laser-focused on all things GTA 6, it seems Rockstar has big plans for its other iconic IPs like Bully and Manhunt as well.

In a new line of signature merch, Rockstar Games has announced a “haul of new official gear” featuring its iconic IPs, including Bully, Manhunt, Red Dead Redemption, and past entries in the Grand Theft Auto series. As there is no GTA 6 merchandise included in the rollout, it seems we’re officially getting Bully and Manhunt merch before we get anything Grand Theft Auto 6-related.

GTA 6 Be Damned, Bully Is Back… Kinda

Bully fans have been living on hopium that they’ll get an official remake or remaster for next-gen consoles, and while the odds of this happening are abysmal, a Bully remake or even Bully 2 are definitely on the list of most-anticipated Rockstar projects. While the studio has shown no indication that these projects will ever happen, they haven’t abandoned the IP entirely.

Part of a line of “new apparel, fun accessories, and collectibles” released on the Rockstar Games store recently, players can get their hands on some new Bully content in the form of a new Bully Screenshot Tee featuring an iconic clip from the game. Further, there’s also a Manhunt Screenshot Tee, and both items are already listed as having Low Stock at the time of this writing, so you may want to act fast.

We Really Got Bully And Manhunt Merch Before GTA 6

While we weren’t necessarily expecting a GTA 6 marketing launch this early, it would’ve been a nice gesture to release some sort of GTA 6 collectible or limited release item for players after Rockstar’s various snafus over the year. While many players won’t be very interested in the new merch if it isn’t GTA 6-related, there are certainly some hardcore Bully fans out there who will appreciate the new threads.

Further, while there are some great Rockstar collectibles included in the rollout, most of this merch will be a painful reminder that players aren’t getting any actual new playable content for a majority of these IPs anytime soon. The prospect of a new Bully game or a remake is highly unlikely given the studio’s focus on GTA 6, while other projects such as Red Dead Redemption 3 or another Manhunt game are almost certainly many years away, if they ever happen at all.

Ultimately, the only thing most Rockstar fans really care about at the moment is that Grand Theft Auto 6 doesn’t receive a third delay. While new merchandise is a nice temporary distraction and will certainly be a great holiday gift for fans of the iconic studio, the best gift any Rockstar fan can receive this holiday season is for GTA 6 to release on time next year.
