Martin University to pause operations amid enrollment, finance problems

Indiana’s only predominantly Black institution, Martin University, announced that it will be pausing operations at the end of December as it faces “financial and student enrollment challenges.”

In a press release issued Dec. 9, the Martin University Board of Trustees announced it’s exploring ways to continue serving students.
