I’ve come to the unfortunate conclusion that I cannot stand my current winter wardrobe. I dream of replacing every single item, but in the name of personal finances and sustainability, that is not in the cards for me this year. Instead, I have a short list of items I’m purchasing in the hopes of zhuzhing up my winter outfit rotation. I’m looking for a cropped, faux-fur coat to wear on nights out, a fleece jacket to layer under my coats on extra-cold days, wool and cashmere accessories like triangle scarves and knit hats, a couple of new shoulder bags, riding boots, Adidas sneakers—okay, maybe my list isn’t that short.
