Samsung will launch a Qi2 wireless charging power bank for Galaxy S26

Samsung seems to be finally bringing Qi2 wireless charging to its phones, starting with the Galaxy S26. It is also bringing several first-party cases and accessories with built-in magnets that align with the magnets in the upcoming phones. One such accessory is a Qi2 power bank.

An unreleased Samsung mobile accessory with model number EB-U2500 was spotted in the WPC (Wireless Power Consortium) database. Its name is Magnet Wireless Battery Pack, and it received the Qi2 certification on 5 December 2025. It is a 5,000mAh power bank that supports up to 15W wireless charging via the Qi2.1 standard. It comes in just one colour: light grey.

Since it has a built-in magnetic ring, it snaps into place and attaches magnetically to phones that support Qi2. It can top up the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s rumoured 5,000mAh battery up to at least 50%, which should be enough to last for a few additional hours.

The HMD Skyline was the world’s first Android phone with Qi2, and it was launched in 2024. A few months ago, Google launched the Pixel 10 series with Qi2 and built-in magnets. Now, Samsung will soon become the next Android smartphone brand to support Qi2 with the launch of the Galaxy S26 in the first quarter of 2026.
