2025 Deutscher Science Fiction Preis Winners – Locus Online


SFCD logoWinners of the 2025 Deutsche Science Fiction Preis, presented by Science Fiction Club Deutschland (SFCD), have been announced.

Best German-Language SF Novel:

  • WINNER: Das zweigeteilte All, Ralph Alexander Neumüller (p.machinery)
  • 2nd place: Antarer: Besuch aus dem All, Ralph Edenhofer (self-published)
  • 3rd place: Die Sphäre, Tom van Allen (self-published)
  • 4th place: Ghostnet – Die letzte Stadt, Fabian K. Roth (self-published)
  • 5th place: Apeirophobia, Christian J. Meier (Hirnkost)
  • 6th place: Proxi, Aiki Mira (Fischer TOR)
  • 7th place: Views, Marc-Uwe Kling (Ullstein)
  • 8th place: Mater Terra – Band I: Widerstand, Ingo Kohlschein (Content4)
  • 9th place: Fremd, Andre Düvel (BoD)

Best German-language SF Short Story:

  • WINNER: “Davy ’n‘ Jean”, Gabriele Behrend (Rock Planet)
  • 2nd place: “Ascheweg”, Robert Corvus (C.R.E.D.O.)
  • 3rd place: “Die Tür in den Sommer”, Ulf Fildebrandt (Nova 34)
  • 4th place: “Ein Schritt ins Leere”, Aiki Mira (Psyche mit Zukunft)
  • 5th place: “Ich bin die Auferstehung und das Leben”, Heidrun Jänchen (Nova 35)
  • 6th place: “Wichtig ist nur, was die Leute glauben”, Christian Endres (Exodus 48)
  • 7th place: “Eine kleine Geschichte von Zeit und Gewalt”, Ulf Fildebrandt (c’t 16/24)
  • 8th place: “Die seltsame Geschichte des Roswell Zwischenfalls”, Peter Schattschneider (Der Traum des Philosophen)
  • 9th place: “Gaia, allein”, Maximilian Wust (Science-Fiction Goes Punk)

Winners were chosen by jury, and receive a €1,000 prize. Awards were presented during BuchmesseCon, to be held October 18, 2025 in Dreieich, Germany. For more information, see the award site.
