Marko Grujic terminated his contract with FC Porto last summer and signed with AEK for one season. The midfielder has accumulated some minutes, but he is far from being a regular choice for the Athens team.
He has recorded 560 minutes across 17 games, in addition to two matches for the national team. Marko Grujic has not scored any goals and was a starter only once in the Greek championship, where AEK holds second place with 34 points in 14 rounds.
At 29 years old, he is experiencing his first stint in Greece, after five seasons with FC Porto. His market value is estimated at three million euros, according to Transfermarkt. AEK’s squad includes a Portuguese player: João Mário, who arrived from Besiktas.
