A 7-year-old boy was killed and two family members injured in a house fire early on Friday in Rizoma, a village in the Rhodope region of northern Greece, local authorities said.
The boy’s 6-year-old sibling and their father were hospitalized in Alexandroupoli in critical condition with burns, authorities added.
Officials are investigating the cause of the fire, saying a heating device in use at the time is considered the most likely cause.
