Portland Trail Blazers big man Donovan Clingan is set up to dominate the boards tonight against a Los Angeles Clippers team without primary rebounder Ivica Zubac.
Without Zubac, Los Angeles is forced to rely on John Collins and Brook Lopez, both of whom will struggle against Clingan’s massive 7-foot-2 frame and elite 17% offensive rebounding rate.
Clingan is currently averaging 12.0 rebounds over his last 20 games and has logged 14 boards in two of his previous three outings.
With the Clippers ranking 27th in the league in rebounding and Portland leading the NBA in second-chance opportunities, Clingan should clear the 11-rebound mark.
