You could almost say her placement is ‘shocking’
The third competitive season for Street Fighter 6 is already almost complete in terms of official tournaments with 46 out of 48 players qualified for Capcom Cup 12, and we’ve seen the game’s meta shift a decent bit from what we saw last year.
Longtime competitor GLOE|Nemo recently put together a new tier list for Street Fighter 6 where he has some interesting placements including the newest character to hit the roster.
At the very top of the mountain, Nemo has Ed and Mai up as the best fighters in SS tier though there’s a few more that come close to their power.
Blanka and Ryu are right behind in S tier with Nemo saying that Terry may be next in line to round out the top five, but he’s a step below the others.
Although Chico’s recent Street Fighter 6 tier list strongly disagrees, the storied Japanese pro believes that one of his mains in M. Bison has fallen off now noting that multiple players have either switched off of him or picked up secondary characters like himself.
It seems the opinions on Elena have started to shift from where she was initially since Nemo has her up in A tier between JP and Rashid, so she’s in pretty good company.
He also has Lily in A tier too somewhat surprisingly.
Sagat is a step lower in B tier sharing the same space as some interesting picks like Ken, Guile, Zangief, A.K.I. and Kimberly.
As for the newest character in SF6, C. Viper is actually down at the very bottom of C tier. We couldn’t find him discussing why she was so low here, but Nemo does say he believes that all characters can win in the game right now.
Please note this tier list was made before Street Fighter 6’s December balance update was available, but it probably wouldn’t change the rankings much (if at all).
You can check out Nemo’s full Street Fighter 6 tier list below where he also has a video detailing his picks more though it’s of course all in Japanese (but YouTube’s auto-dubbing feature can at least give you the gist of what he’s talking about).
