Grupo Frontera‘s latest music video is a symbol of love — and charity.
Earlier this month, the norteño-cumbia band released a music video for their single “Se Me Sale,” which is featured on their latest album Lo Que Me Falta Por Llorar. In the music video, the group pays tribute to Perla, a young fan living with cancer.
At the beginning of the music video, there’s a note in Spanish that reads, “Dedicated to Perlita, who found light even on the darkest days.” The group further noted that all proceeds from the video would be donated to Perla and her family.

The video then opens with the story of Perla’s family, from footage of her parents’ wedding to her birth.
Transitioning to an older Perla, the band included footage of the moment they surprised her at school — and touching moments of her going through treatment in the hospital.
At another point, the band visits Perla — who has been open about her health journey on social media — in the hospital with a bouquet of flowers. They also take a sweet trip to Disneyland with her and have some fun on the rides.
The video concludes with sweet moments of the band and Perla, including them giving her a big hug in the hospital.
Lo Que Me Falta Por Llorar, which dropped in October, features 13 tracks and collaborations with stars such as Ozuna, Myke Towers and Tito Double P.

Upon the album’s release, the “No Se Va” singers said in a statement that it reflects “everything we’ve lived — from heartbreak to celebration.”
“We wanted each song to tell a different emotion. Even though our music has always carried a joyful energy, our lyrics often come from a place of sadness,” they said in a press release.

The band added, “With this album, we wanted to show that contrast in a deeper way, even visually, with a darker and more honest aesthetic. We dared to experiment with new sounds and collaborations we truly admire, while staying true to who we are. This album represents growth, unity, and the heart of what Grupo Frontera stands for.”
In November, the band — who recently announced their upcoming Triste Pero Bien C*bron Tour — made their debut at Nashville’s legendary Grand Ole Opry, becoming one of the first Mexican acts to bring norteño music to the iconic venue.
