Last month, we detailed how T-Mobile’s “On Us” benefit for Apple TV will no longer be free starting January 1st. Consider this your reminder!
Apple TV was an early addition to the “On Us” perks, being offered as far back as 2021. Apple raised the prices a couple of times since then, but T-Mobile has decided this latest increase to $12.99 isn’t going to be covered.
Beginning January 1st, starting on your next bill after that, you’ll be charged $3 per month for the Apple TV benefit. If you prefer not to pay that, you’ll need to cancel before the end of the year.
Customers who don’t have the “On Us” benefit but who prefer billing Apple TV via their T-Mobile account anyway will see a price increase from $9.99 to $12.99.
To cancel the Apple TV benefit, simply login to the T-Life app and go to the Manage page. Tap “See plans” near the top to open a “My account” page, and then tap “Manage add-ons”. From there, find the Apple TV benefit under Account-level services and uncheck it.

Alternatively, visit this link on desktop to open the Add-ons page directly (after signing in). Then uncheck the Apple TV benefit there.
You might also want to log into your Apple TV account and make sure it’s cancelled there, too.
Act fast, because the price increase is set to take effect January 1st.
