Daily NBA Player Props – December 29th

Moussa Diabate – Over 11.5 Rebounds (-125)

Diabate is pretty much the lone center still healthy on the Hornets. Both Ryan Kalkbrenner and Mason Plumlee are both on the mend through the end of the year. Since Diabate has taken over the starting center role, he’s been all over the boards. In the last three games, he’s 3-0 against this line and putting up 14.7 boards per game. Milwaukee comes to town tonight and they rank 29th in rebounding percentage. That should allow Diabate to clean up once again.

CJ McCollum – Under 26.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-107)

McCollum’s PRA goes the way that his scoring does. Never one to put up big numbers on the boards or dimes, it comes down to whether or not he can score 20 or more points. When he scores that many points, he’s 11-1 against this line this year. When he comes up short of 20 points, he’s 0-18 against this projection. With Phoenix being a top ten team defensively this year – allowing just 110.0 points per game over their last three – and with McCollum coming up short in three of his last four, this seems like an obvious under.

OG Anunoby – Over 6.5 Rebounds (+131)

On Saturday, Anunoby got busy on the boards and grabbed double figures. Part of that was due to the fact that Josh Hart was hurt and Anunoby needed to pick up the slack. Well Hart is still not back on Monday and Mitchell Robinson will be joining him on the bench with an ankle injury. As a result, it’s pretty much down to Anunoby and Karl Anthony-Towns to clean the glass against the Pelicans. New Orleans ranks 25th in the league in rebounding percentage, which should give Anunoby plenty of chances.
