Norton Children’s Hospital debuts mobile gaming station for kids to play at their bedside | Local News

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Norton Children’s Hospital is bringing some normalcy to patients’ days thanks to a $10,000 grant.

Patients are already putting the Gamers Outreach GO Kart to good use. It’s a mobile gaming station that brings the joy of video games directly to kids’ bedsides.

The gaming station includes games like Mario Kart and Minecraft, and allows the kids to be kids while in the hospital.

The new addition was made possible thanks to a $10,000 grant from Child’s Play Charity.
