ACPL, Science Central plan ‘Countdown to Noon’ New Year’s Eve events

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WPTA) – Some family-friendly events are planned for young ones in Allen County to ring in the new year on Wednesday.

Science Central, located at 1950 N Clinton Street in downtown Fort Wayne, is hosting its annual Countdown to Noon celebration on Wednesday.

The event, which kicks off at 10 a.m., recreates the midnight countdown by counting down to noon, with a big balloon drop to celebrate the new year without having kids stay up late.

The celebration is included with regular admission to Science Central, which costs $11 for children and adults and is free for those two and under. You can read more about it here.
